Conference Objectives
To increase the awareness that FASD is a life-long brain disability that requires a comprehensive life-long system of prevention, diagnosis, services and support.
To describe the current regional FASD related services, as well as, identifying and prioritizing needed services and support.
To demonstrate the FASD programs and strategies that has proven successful in Alaska and elsewhere.
To help families, communities and organizations advocate for creation of FASD services and support with special emphasis on: early diagnosis, supervised housing, youth and adult programs, alternatives to incarceration and support for families.
