Client Intake Process

Step 1- Initial Contact

  • Intake staff meet with each applicant and establish which program(s) he/she may apply for.
  • Intake staff do not make determinations on whether or not applicants will receive benefits.

Step 2- Application(s) Provided

  • Intake staff will provide the appropriate applications for services.

Step 3- Return Completed Application(s) to Intake

  • Individuals submitting incomplete applications will receive a letter identifying the documents necessary to complete their application. A deadline for receipt  of the requested documentation will also be provided in the letter (which will be 30 days from the date the application was signed).
  • Individuals with complete applications will be scheduled to meet with the proper caseworker.

Step 4- Meet With Caseworker

  • The applicant will meet with the caseworker and work directly with the caseworker from this point forward.
  • Clients will not need to meet with the Intake staff again, unless requesting additional service(s).
