Holidays
There are 12 paid holidays per year for employees. Click here for schedule.

Annual Leave
During the first 2 years of employment employees accrue of about 17.5 days annual leave per year (132 hours). The amount of leave increases to 24 days or (180 hours) after completion of the second year of employment. This allows the employee to take a day off for their own personal mental health and well being.

Sick Leave
Employees also earn about 17.5 days of sick leave per year (132 hours). This leave can only be used when either the employee or his/her dependants are sick.

Health Insurance
CCTHITA offers a voluntary health insurance package through Blue Cross which contains medical, dental, and optometry coverage for employees. Employees pay only a small part of the premium for this. Coverage for dependents is also available, and there is a monthly payroll deduction for this option.

AFLAC voluntary insurance programs are available such as Cancer Prevention, Personal Hospital Intensive Care, Personal Disability Income Protector, and Personal Accident Indemnity plan, Life Assurance, plus much more.

Retirement Plan
CCTHITA offers a generous combination of retirement benefits for qualifying employees.

401(a): CCTHITA contributes 9% of the employee's gross earnings. We have an aggressive 5 year vesting cycle. Therefore, after successfully completing 5 years of employment the employee is entitled to 100% of the account value.

401(k): CCTHITA contributes 3% of the employee's gross earnings. Employees are encouraged to contribute tax free to this account up to the maximum allowed by federal law. (401k is a safe harbor plan - participants are 100% vested).

Roth IRA: Employees are encouraged to contribute up to the maximum allowable amount tax free through payroll deductions.

Life Insurance
CCTHITA pays the premium for 2 term life insurance policies for each benefited employee.
Standard Life - The amount of the policy is equal to an employee's annual salary.
Lifewise - The amount of the policy is equal to one and one half (1½) times an employee's annual salary.

Employee Assistance Programs
CCTHITA contracts with a local mental health counselor to provide assistance to employees with personal or work-related problems. The plan covers one visit per problem. This program provides total confidentiality.

CCTHITA provides a small legal assistance program which provides a limited grant and loan program for qualifying employees with a qualifying legal crisis.
