5th Vice President - Profile

Marvin L. Adams is Tlingit of the Raven moiety from the Kwaashk'i Kwaan tribe in Yakutat. His Tlingit name is Kaanakw Eesh. He is the clan house leader of the Tsisk'w Hit (Owl House) in Yakutat.

Mr. Adams is the President and CEO of National Capital LLC located in Anchorage Alaska. His area of expertise is arranging large commercial loans for Alaska Native Corporations and federally recognized Tribes. Marvin brings over 17 years of experience in commercial lending as former Alaska Regional Credit Officer for Bureau of Indian Affairs Alaska Region. From there he was hired out of Federal Service to establish a Loan Production Office in Anchorage, Alaska for Native American Bank. As Vice President of Native American Bank, Marvin brought several Alaska Native Corporations to invest in the newly established Native American Bank.

Mr. Adams had early on recognized that many Alaska Native corporations and tribes were unaware of the secondary Lending Markets. Recognizing this void established National Capital LLC in 2006 and has since arranged many finance agreements to provide low cost, long term, and fixed rates to the Alaska Native corporations and Alaska tribes.

National Capital LLC has expanded from Alaska and now has a national footprint and provides expertise to many lower 48 tribes. He has arranged financing for a large data center, office facilities, hotels, mergers & acquisitions and lines of credit, and many types of financing products in Business Development.

Mr. Adams attended Sheldon Jackson Jr. College, University of Alaska, and Alaska Pacific University. He resides in Anchorage with his wife Victoria Adams and their two children Colin & Susan Adams. Mr. Adams also has a daughter Christine Adams, from another marriage, who is in her third year at UAA in Anchorage Alaska
