Events - 3rd Annual Culture Camp
The Central Council of Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska is proud to host the 3rd Annual Culture Camp held June 24 - 27, 2011 in Juneau, Alaska. Culture Camp will focus on traditional knowledge and experiences as they relate to water. Activities include paddle making, war canoeing, drum making, smokehouse building, preparing smoked salmon, and development of leadership skills. Southeast Alaska youth ages 13 – 19 are encouraged to apply.
