CENTRAL COUNCIL HIRES NEW HEAD START MANAGER

The Central Council Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska (CCTHITA) is pleased to announce the hire of Mrs. Ramona Menish as our new Head Start Program Manager. Mrs. Menish will officially join our Head Start team on July 18, 2005.

Ramona is a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa. She a comes to CCTHITA with 2 years experience as a Head Start Teacher for the Petersburg Indian Association, 13 years experience Head Start program management experience for the Lumi Head Start Program, 3 years Federal Review Team Experience, and 5 years of experience providing training and technical assistance for Native Head Start Grantees.

We look forward to her participation on our management team and sharing her experience and expertise with the employees, children, and families in our communities.
