LAT'SEEN BENSON FUNDRAISER HELD

A community wide fundraiser was held for Lat'seen Benson Monday, November 21, 2005 at the Juneau Alaska Native Brotherhood Hall. This successful event brought in over $3,500 of contributions from the Tlingit Haida Central Council, the Southeast Alaska Native Veterans, the Alaska Native Brotherhood Camp #2, the Juneau Tlingit & Haida Community Council and many friends.

Lat'seen Benson was critically injured Sunday, November 13, 2005 while serving his second tour of duty in Iraq. He is currently recovering in the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
