American Nutritional Program
Program Purpose
To provide in-house hot lunches to Alaska Native elders
(60 years of age and older) enabling them the convenience of remaining
within their own homes.

Description
An annual subcontract with Southeast Senior Services is in place
to provide lunches to the elderly in Klukwan/Haines and Kake.
Goals
Program funding and target areas are projected to remain the same.

Funding is through the Administration on Aging, Department of
Health and Human Services
Program a budget of
$209,511 (excluding General Assistance
which is reported separately) in 1996.
