Tribal Transportation
The Tribal Transportation Department is organized to manage the day-to-day operations of all contracted federal programs that tribes may perform through agreements with the federal government. Operations began in 2005, with primary funding from the Indian Reservation Roads (IRR) program, 25 CFR 170, no known as the Tribal Transportation program (TTP). The department has national level expertise with the Tribal Transportation Program and offers technical assistance, engineering management, and training in the program and project implementation.
