Tribal Transportation
The Tribal Transportation Department is organized to manage the day-to-day operations of all contracted federal programs that tribes may perform through agreements with the federal government. Operations began in 2005, with primary funding from the Indian Reservation Roads (IRR) program, 25 CFR 170. The Tribal Transportation Allocation Methodology (TTAM) is used to allocate IRR program funds. The department has national level expertise with the IRR program and offers technical assistance and training in the IRR program, project implementation, and contract compliance. |
